Brown Competes in Spooky 50 at Super Bee

Payton Brown entered the 2022 edition of the Spooky 50 over the weekend at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.).

Action opened on Friday night with a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model program. A sixth-place finish in his heat race positioned Payton 11th on the starting grid for the feature. He went on to advance to a ninth-place finish.

On Saturday evening a $7,000 top prize was posted for the Super Late Model contingent, and Payton was credited with a seventh-place finish after retiring late in the finale.

He also entered the Street Stock program, but scratched from the program after heat race action.
